Porsches and Pancakes with Tech Session
Porsche of Minneapolis
9595 Wayzata Blvd, Minneapolis
Saturday, October 15, 2016
There has been a lot of discussion about Winterization of our Porsches for winter (some of the diehards drive all year). We have arranged for P&P at Porsche of Minneapolis on Saturday, October 15 at 9:00 AM (doors for us open at 8:30).
The team at Porsche of Minneapolis will review what should be done prior to long term parking of your Porsche for the winter. Because it is only 5 to 6 months I personally don’t like to think of it as storage! We are planning for up to 2 hours to discuss and demonstrate what should be done to prep the car. If you would like to volunteer your car to be the demonstration car, let me know. A discounted normal charge applies.
The dealer will provide breakfast to everyone who attends consisting of Hot and Cold breakfast items, along with Coffee and Juice.
Please RSVP to Steve Meydell at Barclayiii@comcast.net no later than October 13, 2016!
As an added bonus we will raffle off one winterization package including labor at the event and additional winterization packages will be available for 10% off.
Complementary car washes and vacuuming will also be done during the event.

Again this summer, there will be a 2nd annual car show on the grounds of Afton Alps. The event will feature ‘show and shine’ for cars attending, food, vendor displays, photo opportunities and just a lot of low-key fun in a lovely setting.
Sign-up for an approximate head count but there is NO pre-payment required.
Cost will be $8 (cash only) at the gate upon entry, and the show is from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., Sunday July 31. Proceeds will again be donated to this year’s charity choice.
Plan on food, beverage and a few dealerships on hand to show off their latest and greatest! Plus, the charity will be bringing one of their large carriage horses to show, and possibly some special photo opportunities for a few owners with a car + horse. There is hotel information for anybody coming from out of town or from the Dakotas, Wisconsin – just contact Jack directly at: firstname.lastname@example.org

Co-chairs Phil Saari and Mark Koegler need your help to put on this amazing event. They still need five or six volunteers to help at the registration table for one or two hour stints between 9:00 a.m. and noon. From 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., they also need eight to ten general volunteers for one or two hour commitments to help direct traffic, assist in the organization of show cars and help facilitate the movement of attendees between the show, swap meet and food areas. Please, reach out to Mark or Phil today.
