Nord Stern is a club, a club made up of members who share a passion, an interest, a desire to delve ever deeper into the Big Wide World of Porsche! Like all clubs, we run on volunteers, people who give of their time and talents with very little interest in ‘what’s in it for me.’ For those who DO step up, all would agree we get way more out of our membership than we give. Setup signage and traffic control in the paddock. Greet arrivals, direct to parking and event. Guide cars to grid positions. Check safety and participant requirements Guide cars to grid positions. Assist in sales of Club Merchandise at Registration Table in Nord Stern tent Pickup Lunch from Vendor nearby. Lunch will have been pre-ordered, mostly pick up the lunch, check with John Velure regarding payment. Barista, Monitor the area, assist as needed. Purchase beverages and snacks, set up Happy Hour, John Velure to handle payment, see John. Assist on Parade, keep cars in order. Participants should have some Track experience, either as DT or DE. Cell phone communication will be used between Lead and Follow cars. Ben Rogers is heading up this part of the event. Assist Members through Buffet, help as needed, collect tickets.
